Maren is a furniture maker and designer based in Hudson, New York. Drawing on brutalist architecture and a background in sculpture, her work emphasizes material honesty and structural clarity, with furniture that is restrained and carefully crafted. She prioritizes durability and thoughtful detailing, producing studio-made pieces that reflect a responsibility to materials and long-term use.

She recently completed a funded fellowship at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. Earlier work in set design and prop styling sharpened her understanding of composition, scale, and how materials interact in space, lessons that continue to shape her designs.
